Behind the Curtain of Taylor Swift’s Endorsement By Cliff Kincaid Tuesday’s presidential debate was overshadowed by singer Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris, issuing a statement in which she said “I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.” Walz is the Minnesota governor who walked away from his National Guard unit when it was deployed to the Middle East and honeymooned in Communist China. In response to abortion, one can cite “thou shalt not kill” from the Bible or the verse from Jeremiah 1:5 in which God says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…” Wouldn’t that have been a proper response by Trump during the debate? He had to know the issue would come up. Sadly, his abortion position is just a little less extreme than that of Harris. Taylor Swift, with 283,000,000 followers on Instagram, is not a Christian artist. The authoritative website the Vigilant Citizen, which monitors occult symbolism in modern society, notes that her video “Fortnight” shows her chained to a bed, drugged with pills, and electroshocked by mad scientists, while her video “Look What You Made Me Do” shows a zombie Taylor Swift rising from the dead. These videos and her performances appeal to the “single white female,” who goes through break-ups with boys and then reemerges as the “strong woman” who regards the unborn child as her personal property and believes tolerance of perverted sexual behavior by the LGBTQ “community” is a virtue. In real life, the pro-family group Mass Resistance has highlighted the nature of the “gay pride” movement in Boston, provided an important “insight into the terrible problems accompanying LGBT behaviors – promiscuity, mental health issues, STDs, and more.” The photos of these events are frightening. I encountered much of the same when I covered a “gay pride” festival in Frederick, Maryland, earlier this year. In addition, to drag queens, dancing in front of children, various booths advertised marijuana and abortion pills. Like Kamala, Taylor Swift has no children. Susan Daniels wonders why Kamala is so committed to abortion. The same questions could apply to Taylor Swift. Daniels asks, “Why her excessive interest in abortion? She has no children. Beware of barren women — they don’t care about the future of your children.” One might think all of this is motivating conservative and Christian voters to turn out for Trump, the Republican candidate. But Trump has been moving left on issues of concern to them, such as abortion. During the debate, the best he could do was argue that the Harris position would permit abortions in the last trimester of a pregnancy, while he would permit it in the first trimester. He had no principled stand on behalf of innocent human life. Let’s face it: Trump did a terrible job of exposing and challenging Harris on this and other social issues. “The Christians are the low propensity voters,” declares Dave Bratt, a current host of the MAGA Real America’s Voice channel during an interview with Ambassador Carla Sands on Wednesday morning. “Our Constitution is based on biblical principles,” she noted. “If you are a Christian…practice it.” She wants Christians to vote for Trump. While the nation mourns the loss of almost 3000 Americans on 9/11, hundreds of unborn children lose their lives every day, contributing to one billion babies dead since the advent of abortion on demand in communist Russia. During the debate on Tuesday at the National Constitution Center, the Pro-Life Coalition of Pennsylvania held a Debate Night Pro-Life Public Witness, with signs, handouts, and testimonies, including displaying Abortion Victim Photos to clearly show the result of Kamala Harris’ support for “reproductive rights.” Mike McMonagle, the organization’s president, declared that “Because of the preeminence of issues concerning the sanctity of all human life, our shared Faith requires us to reject Kamala Harris' candidacy.” That advice sounds solid and factual, but the case was not made during the debate by Trump himself. Trump pleaded with the ABC moderators, “…will she allow abortion in the eighth month, ninth month, seventh month?” The answer is yes. But why allow abortions in the first several months as well? MAGA spokespeople are all over the MAGA media on Wednesday morning, complaining about the ABC moderators and the bias against Trump. Trump should have been prepared for it. Better yet, he should have had principled positions he could defend on the air during the debate. He called Kamala a Marxist, but she didn’t even bother to counter that claim. Trump failed to explain what Marxism is. Perhaps he doesn’t understand what he is up against. Marxism represents the Powers of Darkness in America and the world, including the churches.
