I am pleased to announce that America’s Survival, Inc. will hold a special May 22 briefing on how Communist and Socialist forces have influenced Senator Barack Obama.

Herbert Romerstein, a former investigator for the House Committee on Un-American Activities, will present a detailed report on Obama’s years in Hawaii, when he came into contact with and under the influence of a member of the Communist Party, Frank Marshall Davis. Romerstein will present detailed evidence of the communist network that included Davis, as well as Paul Robeson, labor leader Harry Bridges, and National Lawyers Guild attorney Harriet Bouslog.

Romerstein also served the United States Information Agency, where his job was to expose Soviet disinformation and “active measures.” One of these Soviet campaigns involved the allegation that the U.S. created the AIDS virus. You may have noticed that Obama’s pastor, Jeremiah Wright, has made that claim, and reaffirmed it during his April 28 National Press Club performance. At the May 22 event, I will present a report on Obama’s years in Chicago, when he came into contact with and under the influence of communists, socialists, and even communist terrorists.  There is a very disturbing pattern here, which we will document in detail.  It can be no accident that Obama always seems to gravitate to the most extreme, anti-American forces. If you think Reverend Wright is something, wait until you see the information that we have developed.

These reports are based on direct fact-finding and special access to historical and investigatory documents.

Romerstein’s report will draw on an extensive collection of congressional and government reports and material from communist archives. My report is based, in part, on a recent trip I made to Chicago, where I obtained direct evidence of Obama’s communist and socialist ties and interviewed key people about them.

During the course of this trip I paid a visit to communist terrorist Bill Ayers’ university office, where I photographed the slogans and literature he has plastered on his door and wall. Ayers was one of those “former 1960s radicals” who helped launch Obama’s political career. You can see for yourself Ayers’ feelings on such topics as Venezuela, where he was invited to lecture at the request of the anti-American government there; Israel, which he regards as a puppet of U.S. imperialism; and homosexual rights, which he thinks is something to be promoted for teachers and students alike. Ayers did not return my requests for comment on these and other matters. He seems almost to have gone into hiding, apparently afraid that he will do to Obama what Wright has done to him.

But the story will be told, and we will have it all on May 22.

My fact-finding also included a trip to the Tamiment Library at New York University, which includes the archives of the old Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA (CPUSA). I specifically examined the Paul Robeson files. Robeson, the well-known singer and actor, was an associate of Frank Marshall Davis and a secret member of the CPUSA.
