A conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. America’s Survival, Inc. (ASI) President Cliff Kincaid, who also serves as the Director of the Accuracy in Media (AIM) Center for Investigative Journalism, has announced a national conference in Washington, D.C. to examine Communist Cuba’s sponsorship of anti-American terrorism and harboring of fugitives from justice and the need to keep Cuba on the official U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism. Evidence will also be presented of how Castro’s agents of influence continue subversive operations on American soil and how the Obama Administration’s expansion of travel to and from the communist island undermines American national security. Speakers include: Humberto Fontova is a well-known author and writer who was born in Havana, Cuba, but grew up in New Orleans. He graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in Political Science. He received his Masters Degree from Tulane University in Latin American Studies. In 2005, he released his third book which is a departure from his earlier writings into a more political genre, Fidel: Hollywood's Favorite Tyrant. In early 2007, his 4th book was released. Exposing the Real Che Guevara and the Useful Idiots who Idolize Him. Joseph F. Connor (son of Frank Connor who was murdered in the FALN lunchtime bombing of historic Fraunces Tavern) has testified before the Senate Subcommittee on Foreign Relations (Clinton’s clemency grant to 16 FALN terrorists) in 1999, the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2009 (Eric Holder confirmation hearings) and introduced The Pardon Attorney Reform and Integrity Act to Congress in 2000. Connor led the successful 2011 effort to deny parole to FALN leader Oscar Lopez. Larry Grathwohl was recruited by the Cincinnati Police to infiltrate the Weathermen. He would later be working for the FBI and become the only person to go underground with what became known as the Weather Underground. After his cover was blown, he testified before several Federal Grand Juries, the U.S. Senate and at the Mark Felt/Ed Miller FBI trail. He wrote the 1976 book, Bringing Down America (with Frank Reagan), detailing his experiences. Cliff Kincaid, who serves as President of America’s Survival, Inc., is an investigative journalist who specializes in analyzing communist and terrorist movements. He started the “Justice for Victims of Weather Underground Terrorism” project to bring to justice the perpetrators of violence and terrorism against American citizens, and has held conferences on this subject in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. Cliff concentrated in journalism and communications at the University of Toledo, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and came to Washington through a national journalism program headed by conservative author and journalist M. Stanton Evans. Cliff served on the staff of Human Events newspaper for several years and was an editorial writer and newsletter editor for former National Security Council staffer Oliver North at his Freedom Alliance educational foundation. He has written or co-authored nine books on media and cultural affairs and foreign policy issues. |
