PETITIONS COLLECTED BY AMERICA’S SURVIVAL, INC. SHOW OVERWHELMING PUBLIC REJECTION OF A U.N.
ROLE IN IRAQ
Thousands of petitions collected by America’s Survival, Inc. demonstrate overwhelming public rejection of a United Nations role in Iraq. The public says the following:
- The U.N. should not be given control of Iraq.
- Senator Joe Biden is wrong to welcome a U.N. role in reconstructing and administering Iraq.
- President Bush should NOT seek active U.N. involvement in Iraq.
- France, Germany and Russia should not get oil contracts with Iraq.
- President Bush should veto any role by France, Germany and Russia in Iraq.
These results compliment the latest public opinion poll finding that Americans have an extremely negative view of the world body:

UNITED NATIONS -- More Americans say the United Nations is doing a poor job in solving world problems than at any time in the past 50 years, according to a USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll. The negative view appears to stem from the Security Council's lack of support for the war in Iraq.
