Bill Gates Should Take
The AIDS Vaccine

Gates, a multi-billionaire, is pouring billions of dollars into development of an HIV/AIDS vaccine that will be mandatory for all young people, even children, in the U.S. But this vaccine comes fraught with danger. It could backfire, causing serious death and injury. One study says the vaccine could increase death rates in some countries. The vaccine has been tested on children in Africa who died and is being tested on children in the U.S. right now. The fate of other "volunteers" is not known, having been kept as a virtual state secret by the health establishment.

EXCERPTS OF CLIFF KINCAID'S REMARKS:

We're here to talk about patients' rights and patient protections. But not after the damage has been done.

We are here to make the case for human rights, human dignity and human freedom. Watching the movie, The Elephant Man, the other night, made me understand more deeply why we're here. The main character says at one point, "I'm not an animal. I'm a human being."

Just because we're fighting the global epidemic of AIDS doesn't mean we forget that the victims of a potential vaccine are human beings. They are not expendable. They are not guinea pigs, lab rats or animals. And we certainly can't forget that the science behind such an endeavor has to be legitimate, not junk, science.

Bill Gates has come under media and congressional scrutiny and federal court action for an alleged monopoly on computer software. But his attempt to manipulate health care for the entire world, in coordination with U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, is viewed as humanitarian.

The U.N. held a special session on HIV/AIDS, even while they continue to deploy thousands of troops around the world without first testing them for HIV.

After Kofi Annan's speech to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, he was asked what private corporations could do against AIDS. Annan said that during the campaign against polio, "We teamed up with Coca-Cola which had trucks and people going to every village with refrigeration in their trucks. So we put the [polio] vaccine in there and we had to distribute it to villages where people were there to receive it, take it up, and give it to their children. These are some of the things that companies can do."

At that point, Thomas Donahue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, said, talking about an AIDS vaccine, "Perhaps we can put it in the Coca-Cola." Annan laughed, and then warned of "trouble" if the plan was carried out.

We are not aware of some ultimate master plan to force an AIDS vaccine on everyone, especially through Coca-Cola. However, the U.S. Military HIV Research Program has openly announced that an AIDS vaccine will be used on the troops. It's on their Web site for all to see. Like the anthrax vaccine, it will NOT be voluntary. But it will probably be the end of the volunteer military.

There doesn't have to be a master plan. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control will recommend the AIDS vaccine for children and then the state governments will require the shots. The feds will require the shots in programs they control, such as in federally subsidized day care centers. That's how it works. A member of the committee has stated as much in the past, and that's in our report, which is available at protectmedicalfreedom.com. They prefer the term "universal" vaccination or immunization. That means no exceptions.

AIDS vaccines have been and are being tested on children right now.

In a publication of the AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition, Dr. Bruce Gellin of the National Network for Immunization Information says AIDS vaccines will be "eventually available for general use." The National Network for Immunization Information is a "partner" with various groups represented on the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. Gellin is very close to the CDC. Anyone who reads the literature understands that the intention is not to use the vaccine just on those at risk of the disease. Like the Hepatitis B shot, the AIDS vaccine will be targeted at those who are NOT at risk.

In this article for the AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition, he refers to a "national survey of parents of young children" about their opinions of vaccines, and goes on to question "how an AIDS vaccine is likely to be perceived." They are concerned about the reaction, and rightly so. The CDC is pouring tax dollars into pro-vaccine advocacy organizations, and the National Institutes of Health has created the "National HIV Vaccine Communications Steering Group" to promote acceptance of an AIDS vaccine. The National Network for Immunization Information is financially supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which, together with the federal government, is subsidizing the creation of vaccine registries to track one's personal health care decisions. This is the groundwork for mandating and tracking those who do and don't take the vaccine.

In response to press inquiries about this conference, federal officials have claimed ignorance - they don't know of any plan to make an AIDS vaccine mandatory. There's an easy way to address this problem. Endorse passage of laws at the state and possibly even the federal level banning a mandatory HIV/AIDS. Taking an AIDS vaccine must NOT be a requirement for children under any circumstances. If that's their position, too, they can easily say so publicly.

I have seen absolutely nothing in any of the literature from the AIDS vaccine groups or the government suggesting an AIDS vaccine would be voluntary. On the contrary, the federal process now in place means there is a presumption that, once it is approved by the federal advisory committee, it will be required for children at the state level. That's how the system works.

If they think this is such a great idea, they should volunteer to take it. The Bill Gates-funded International AIDS Vaccine Initiative salutes "Vaccine Heroes" who volunteer as guinea pigs in HIV/AIDS vaccine trials and experiments. One of them, a soldier in the Ugandan Army, is described on their Web site as a patriot who had already decided, as a member of the military, to die for his country. So it was easy for him "to accept the idea of testing an unknown vaccine."

Bill Gates should volunteer to take the experimental HIV/AIDS vaccine that he is foisting on the rest of the world. Perhaps he could star on the new NBC show, "Fear Factor," as he gets injected.

By the way, the fate of other "volunteers" is not known, having been kept as a virtual state secret by the health establishment. We call upon Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson to halt the secret and unethical experiments and fully disclose the fate of the vaccine volunteers. Our committee urges Congress to exercise immediate congressional oversight of the HIV/AIDS vaccine project.

====================================================

The release of a United Nations report on AIDS and the holding of an international AIDS conference have led to a series of stories about the disease and what to do about it. Research indicates that the world is headed for 65 million deaths as a result of the epidemic by the year 2020. Typically, the liberal media solution is condoms and drugs. They avoid talking about abstinence. And they certainly don't want to talk about the dangerous sexual practices in Africa that are spreading the disease. That would be culturally insensitive.

One of the few articles about the problem appeared in USA Today back on September 15, 1999. Steve Sternberg described the odious traditions that facilitate the transmission of AIDS. Quoting the manager of an AIDS service organization in Uganda, Sternberg reported, "Here, the groom's father can have sex with the bride, and that's accepted. Here, other clan members may have sex with someone's wife, and no one says anything." Another problem in Uganda: prostitution. Truckers with HIV regularly pay for sex with women who need the money to feed themselves or their families. The women infect their boyfriends and husbands, who infect their wives and girlfriends.

In a story back on page 14 on July 5th, the Wall Street Journal noted evidence that the rate of HIV infections is starting to slow in Uganda. The Journal said Uganda's anti-AIDS program "encourages people to limit the number of sexual partners and otherwise change high-risk sexual behavior." In fact, Uganda is advocating abstinence above every other measure. The nation's First Lady, Janet Museveni, says the government is emphasizing a return to "time-tested cultural practices which emphasized fidelity and condemnation of pre-marital and extra-marital sex." She says, "Young people must be taught the virtues of abstinence, self-control and postponement of pleasure and sometimes sacrifice." She says teaching them a different lifestyle "will ensure their survival." During an appearance in Washington, she specifically derided condoms as a long-term solution: "Teaching people to use condoms is, at best, only a short-term solution. What works is a change of behavior. Marriage is being used in all sorts of incorrect ways, and our children are watching us. We have to set an example for the young by instilling the virtues of self-control, faithfulness and honesty in relationships. The young represent our chance to survive. We must not fail them."

She added, "We never really talk about our ethics, our morals, but I feel very strongly that this is the only answer. Ours is a spiritually illiterate generation. The whole problem is tied in with the breakdown of morals in the world." She warned that talk about new drugs to treat AIDS and condoms to prevent the disease "make AIDS sound less dangerous" and could actually worsen the problem.

In an editorial, "The Epidemic Advances," the Washington Post noted that Uganda has been making progress in fighting the disease. But the liberal paper failed to acknowledge that the message of traditional moral values is working. It would rather talk about drugs and condoms and an AIDS vaccine.
