Owings, MD, March 23, 1999: Siding with a group of terrorists called the Kosovo Liberation Army, President Clinton has ordered American troops to go to war against Serbian people whose ancestors helped save American fliers during World War II. "Clinton has ordered American troops to drop bombs on the sons and daughters of those who fought the Nazis and saved American pilots who were shot down by the Nazis," declared Cliff Kincaid, president of America’s Survival, a public policy think tank. "Equally important, Clinton has violated international law and the U.N. Charter by authorizing NATO military intervention in a sovereign state."
In a notorious 1969 letter to Colonel Eugene Holmes, director of the ROTC program at the University of Arkansas, Clinton said that "many fine people" -- himself included -- had found themselves "loathing the military..." Clinton, who reneged on his promise to go into ROTC and then evaded the military draft, admitted that he signed up for the program only to "protect myself from physical harm." "Now, Clinton wants other Americans to die," declared America’s Survival President Cliff Kincaid. "Clinton will have blood on his hands. He should personally explain to the widows and children of the Americans who get killed why they had to die on behalf of a group of ungrateful Europeans."
Kincaid explained, "When American soldiers were fighting and dying in Vietnam, to stop the march of communist totalitarianism, our European ‘allies’ were trading with the enemy, Communist Vietnam. This is a critical reason why the war was ‘unwinnable’ and why more than 50,000 young Americans lost their lives."
The Ken Starr report revealed that Clinton drummed up Congressional support for the Bosnia deployment while being serviced by Monica Lewinsky. Those troops were supposed to be home two years ago. "The troops being deployed to Kosovo and Yugoslavia may be coming home sooner than that -- in body bags," Kincaid declared.
