Biden’s Forever Wars
By Cliff Kincaid The first American casualties in the third World War have occurred without a Congressional declaration of war. Two Navy SEALs died trying to intercept Iranian weapons. Biden’s record as a “War President” could be a wake-up call to voters concerned about their children being called into military service during Biden’s proposed second term. Young men must legally sign up for military conscription at their local post office. But don’t worry: the fake news Associated Press assures us that the U.S. military isn’t “laying the groundwork” for a return to a military draft. This is the military establishment whose Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was recently caught covering-up his own serious illness and secret hospitalization. What other secrets are they hiding from the American people? In the latest example of deepening involvement in another war, U.S. Central Command announced that the two “missing” U.S. Navy SEALs died “during the boarding of an illicit dhow [a small sailing vessel] carrying Iranian advanced conventional weapons…” but there was no explanation or constitutional justification for this military operation. When Biden ordered military strikes on weapons depots of Iranian-backed terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria, he sent a letter to Congress explaining, “I directed the strikes in order to protect and defend our personnel, to degrade and disrupt the ongoing series of attacks against the United States and our partners, and to deter Iran and Iran-backed militia groups from conducting or supporting further attacks on United States personnel and facilities.” The U.S. intelligence community believes that Iran is not currently seeking a “direct war” with the United States, reports NBC News, an outlet for the Biden Administration. It is very “direct” for the U.S. military personnel under attack and dying. We are told that the United States is protecting freedom of navigation. But when that policy leads to active military efforts to board Iranian ships carrying weapons, that means war. Before the deaths of the two Navy SEALs, it was estimated that Iran-backed terrorists had launched nearly 140 attacks on American troops in Iraq and Syria, with 57 attacks in Iraq and 83 in Syria. It is reported that at least 66 American service members in Iraq and Syria have been injured. Cries for retaliation are being heard. Former Trump national security adviser John Bolton said on Newsmax that the time to hit Iran is now. Alan M. Dershowitz argues that the United States is even “entitled to destroy Iran's potential nuclear arsenal in response to the attacks directed at American troops by Iran's proxies.” But any such move requires a Congressional a declaration of war. What is more, the source of Iran’s nuclear program is Russia, the same country waging war on Ukraine. Dan Cox, a Republican Candidate for Congress in Maryland’s 6th district, warns of Joe Biden dragging the United Sates into another war, saying, “I won’t stand by while our inept ‘leaders’ bumble us into World War III and cost the lives of our children and grandchildren.” This requires that Congress debate war with Iran before Biden gets us into another war he won’t win. Anyone with two eyes can see the “Commander-in-Chief” is a bumbling fool. House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, R-Ala., has accused Secretary Austin of being dishonest about his health problems on top of Biden’s unfolding foreign policy disasters. Not surprisingly, Biden expresses confidence in Austin. Speaking of war, don’t forget the invasion of our southern border and the poisoning of our people from the Red Chinese working hand-in-glove with the Mexican drug cartels. The pathetic fool Biden claims to have had a Damascus Road conversion on the issue, declaring “Give me the money” to fix the problem he created. Yet, Biden can fix the problem by return to the Trump policies he abandoned. Ukraine and Israel were not invaded under President Trump. Meanwhile, in a campaign to get votes, the national Democratic Party is trying to expand the sales of marijuana to young people by rescheduling the substance as a soft drug, at a time when the Wall Street Journal reports that more teens using marijuana are suffering from psychosis. Meanwhile, the Communist Party USA hails the news that the Democrats have launched a national “My body my choice” abortion rights campaign. Conn Carroll, the commentary editor for the Washington Examiner, calls the Democratic Party “the party of abortion, marijuana, and pornography,” the latter a reference to one Democratic Party candidate in Virginia who was an amateur porn star. He forgot one thing – war. It was in 1976 that Republican Senator Bob Dole had referred to “Democrat wars,” started by or under Democratic Party presidents. Dole had been seriously injured fighting in World War II. Hitler’s invasion of Europe was encouraged in the same way that Biden dismissed the prospect of a Russian invasion of Ukraine as a “minor” occurrence. Biden also bears some responsibility for the invasion of Israel, since his policies clearly benefited Iran and its military power and influence. “War President” Joe Biden has presided over wars in Europe and the Middle East and another one is unfolding before our eyes. But wait: wasn’t it Biden who proudly ended the “forever war” in Afghanistan. “As President,” Biden said as a candidate, “I will use military power responsibly and as a last resort. We will not go back to forever wars in the Middle East.” What does a third major war in the world mean for Americans fearful of another 12 months remaining in “War President” Joe Biden’s term – and another four years? The issues of war and peace and the return of military conscription must be top priority issues. Facing the legal terrorism of the Democrats and their corrupt prosecutors, Trump can and should run as a peace president who will end Biden’s forever wars. No issue is more important. Meanwhile, “My body my choice” should now be applied to those young men facing the prospect of being drafted into Biden’s forever wars. Get ready for another generation of wounded and dead warriors.
