Dear Friend of America's Survival,
It was a highlight of my life when I was honored to receive the Andrew Jackson "Champion of Liberty" Award from Howard Phillips and the U.S. Taxpayers Alliance on September 17, 2008. The award was given on the Conservative Caucus 8th annual commemoration of Constitution Day. The above inscrption is on a beautiful chair I received. Andrew Jackson has been described as a pioneer, patriot, soldier, politician, and America’s first populist president. "Jackson laid the framework for democracy, paid off the national debt, gained new lands for America, strengthened relationships with foreign nations globally and issued a new currency," notes the managers of his home, The Hermitage. But the Politico article, "Marianne Williamson vows to remove Andrew Jackson painting from Oval Office,” refers to how this New Age Democrat wants to eliminate the portrait of this great patriot. Barack Hussein Obama’s Treasury Department acted in 2016 to take Jackson off the front of the $20 bill. By contrast, Trump, to his credit, placed a portrait of Jackson in the Oval Office and made a pilgrimage to the late president’s tomb in Nashville, where he gave a speech. Read the speech here.
