GUNS OF ISLAM: RED MARXIST AND GREEN SUBVERSION

Why Islamic Fascists Are Poised to Attack America Again

By Travis A. Karnes

The guns of Islam are not silent. They never were. From the seventh-century conquests that carved empires by the sword to the modern campaigns of mass-casualty terrorism, asymmetric maritime interdiction, drone strikes, and demographic infiltration, the operational pattern remains constant: expand the dar al-Islam, erode the will of the dar al-Harb, and impose supremacy through kinetic action, subversion, and patient force generation. What has changed is the multi-layered alliance now arrayed against the American republic. The Green of Islamic fascism supplies the ideological and kinetic spear. The Red of Marxist internationalism—revived and adapted by Moscow and Beijing—provides strategic depth, technology, diplomatic cover, and institutional solvent. Domestic enablers, including networks funded by George Soros and the apparatus of the Democratic Party, complete the pincer by dismantling borders, free speech, and national cohesion from within. This is hybrid warfare on a civilizational scale.

Strategic analysts and military leaders have repeatedly mapped the strategic deception of active measures, unbroken influence networks, and the same operational reality: Islamic fascism as a totalitarian political theology fused with great-power revisionism and cultural Marxism. The result is a distributed threat already inside the American perimeter and postured for further attack.

The External Axis: Russia, Red China, and the Iranian Proxy Network

Russia and the People’s Republic of China form the strategic rear of the Green offensive. In the mid-2020s the so-called Axis of Upheaval—or CRINK (China, Russia, Iran, North Korea)—has hardened into a functional partnership of convenience aimed at eroding U.S. global position. China supplies Iran with dual-use components, missile-propellant precursors, guidance systems, and electronics that enable rapid reconstitution of ballistic-missile, drone, and air-defense capabilities after Israeli and American strikes. Russian technical assistance has supported Iranian drone operations; Moscow has provided diplomatic shielding at the United Nations, intelligence support, and, according to multiple assessments, targeting data and exploration of advanced anti-ship missile transfers that benefit Houthi maritime denial campaigns. Joint naval drills in the region signal coordination. The practical effect is force multiplication for Iran’s “Axis of Resistance”—Hezbollah, the Houthis, Hamas remnants, and affiliated militias—allowing them to impose cumulative attrition on U.S. naval assets, commercial shipping, and regional partners without exposing Moscow or Beijing to direct conventional risk.

This is classic great-power enabling of proxy warfare. Russia’s experience in hybrid operations and China’s mastery of economic coercion and technology transfer give Islamic fascist networks access to advanced systems, sanctions-evasion routes, and strategic patience they could not sustain alone. The southern approaches to the United States become more dangerous when the same states that back Tehran also benefit from the chaos of uncontrolled migration and internal American division.

CRINK Clandestine Tactics and Dual-Use Export Pipelines

The CRINK alliance does not operate through formal mutual-defense treaties. It operates through clandestine, deniable, and highly adaptive networks designed to defeat Western sanctions and export controls. Chinese entities function as the decisive enabler: front companies, shell corporations, and trading firms registered in Hong Kong, the UAE, Turkey, and mainland China procure restricted dual-use goods—semiconductors, microchips, gyro navigation devices, sensors, engines (including models such as the Limbach L550 used in one-way attack drones), batteries, fiber-optic components, and missile-propellant precursors—then transship them through multi-layered routes with falsified end-user documentation. Goods are mislabeled, moved via ship-to-ship transfers, or routed through third-country hubs to obscure final destinations in Russia, Iran, or North Korea.

These dual-use exports directly feed Iranian UAV and ballistic-missile production lines and Russian drone manufacturing. Chinese dual-use shipments to Iran have spiked around key pressure points—strategic partnership announcements, restoration of maximum-pressure campaigns, and post-strike reconstitution periods. Obscure Chinese firms continue shipping engines, electronics, and guidance components to Iranian and Russian drone factories in open defiance of U.S. controls. Russia reciprocates with technical know-how, Caspian logistics corridors, and experience in adapting commercial electronics for military use. North Korea contributes cybercrime proceeds, illicit IT-worker networks, and additional sanctions-evasion channels often routed through Chinese territory. Barter trade, non-dollar settlement systems, and coordinated diplomatic obstruction at the United Nations complete the architecture. The result is a resilient, low-signature logistics system that keeps Iranian proxies armed and Russian forces supplied while remaining one step ahead of enforcement.
Current Operational Picture: The Islamic Fascist Force in Being

As of mid-2026 the threat remains multi-theater. Islamic State Khorasan Province continues external-operations plotting against the West, including the 2024 arrests of Tajik nationals in major U.S. cities who entered via the southern border. ISIS-K propaganda, increasingly enhanced by artificial intelligence, provides tactical guidance for lone actors and small cells, including drone employment against soft targets. Houthi forces, after absorbing U.S. strikes in Operation Rough Rider (2025), retained long-range strike capability and by July 2026 were threatening expanded naval blockades. Sahel provinces of the Islamic State and al-Qaeda affiliates generate combat experience, financing, and potential external-operations capacity. Muslim Brotherhood networks faced partial U.S. designations in January 2026 for material support to Hamas, yet the broader influence infrastructure continues.

These Green forces do not operate in isolation. They draw logistical and technological oxygen from the Russia-China-Iran alignment while exploiting the domestic openings created by Red subversion.

Domestic Enablers: Open-Borders Networks and Institutional Capture

The internal front is equally critical. Billionaire-funded open-borders foundations and related donor networks have long funded organizations that treat national borders as moral offenses, promote mass migration without assimilation, and frame any rigorous scrutiny of Islamist ideology as “Islamophobia.” These efforts align operationally with the demographic and narrative pressure that Islamic networks require. Parallel to this, elements of the political establishment—through sustained resistance to border enforcement, expansion of Temporary Protected Status and related programs, prioritization of identity politics over national cohesion, and institutional reluctance to name political Islam as a doctrinal threat—have functioned as a force multiplier for infiltration and narrative control. The result is degraded intelligence prioritization, politicized law enforcement, and a political class that treats the southern border as a humanitarian corridor rather than a primary line of communication for hostile actors.

This is not accidental policy drift. It is the domestic expression of the same cultural Marxism that strategic analysts identified as the solvent of Western societies: the systematic dismantling of the nation-state’s ability to defend itself. When borders are reframed as violence and doctrinal criticism is pathologized, the Green networks advance under Red political cover, while Russia and China gain strategic advantage from American self-paralysis.

Tactical Assessment of the Homeland Threat

The American southern border remains the principal infiltration corridor. Once inside, the threat shifts to soft-target selection—transportation hubs, crowded venues, critical infrastructure—executed by small cells or inspired individuals guided by remote command-and-control and online tactical instruction. Propaganda now includes explicit methodology. Parallel societies and localized dual legal standards, already visible in parts of Europe, illustrate the end-state of unopposed penetration.

Centers of gravity for the combined threat are:

• Ideology (Islamic political theology of supremacy + Marxist cultural solvent)
• External state enablers (Russian and Chinese technology, finance, and diplomatic cover for Iran and proxies)
• Domestic logistics and narrative control (open-border facilitation, foundation-funded advocacy, institutional capture)
• Finance and recruitment pipelines
The American center of gravity under attack remains national cohesion and the political will to name and defeat the threat without apology.

Required Courses of Action

Response must be simultaneous across domains. Restore border denial as a strategic priority—physical control, rapid expulsion, and termination of policies that convert the frontier into an open logistics pipeline. Target the organizational and financial infrastructure of designated Islamist networks with full authorities. Disrupt the technology and dual-use pipelines that Russia and China provide to Iran and its proxies through sanctions enforcement, export controls, and secondary pressure. Expose and counter the domestic funding streams and institutional capture that treat open borders and ideological blindness as moral imperatives. Rebuild intelligence focus on radicalization, foreign influence, and hybrid threats without the self-imposed constraints of political correctness. Treat the doctrinal core of Islamic fascism and the cultural Marxism that enables it as hostile operating systems to be contested openly.

The guns of Islam are loaded. Russia and Red China supply the strategic depth and the dual-use pipelines that keep those guns firing. Foreign-aligned donor networks and the political apparatus have helped clear the domestic field. ISIS-K cells have already tested the southern approach. Iranian proxies have demonstrated the ability to impose costs on U.S. power projection. The window for decisive action is measured in years, not decades.

History is not a spectator sport. I have seen what happens when free nations hesitate—when they treat clear and present danger as a public-relations problem instead of a war that must be won. This is not the time for half-measures or carefully worded statements designed to offend no one. This is the time for Americans to stand up, name the enemy without apology, secure the border as if our children’s lives depend on it—because they do—and break the clandestine pipelines that feed the guns of Islam. We have the tools. We have the Constitution. We have the moral clarity if we choose to reclaim it.

What is required now is the same clarity that once rebuilt a free world from the ashes of tyranny: a decisive national commitment to victory—military, political, and cultural. Seal the border. Cut the dual-use exports. Dismantle the networks. Reject the ideology that teaches Americans to hate their own civilization. Renew the great American idea as the last best hope of free men and women. The alternative is managed decline under the guns of a new axis of upheaval. That choice is still ours. Make it.
