State Police arrest Cazenovia man following child exploitation investigation

On June 18, 2026, the New York State Police arrested Travis J. Longo, age 46, of Cazenovia, NY, on the following charges:

• Four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class A Misdemeanor)

The charges stem from a law enforcement referral received by the New York State Police Troop D Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Oneida.

The arrest was the result of a joint investigation conducted by members of the Troop D Bureau of Criminal Investigation (Oneida), the State Police Computer Crime Unit (Troop D), the New York State Police Special Investigations Unit, and the Madison County Child Advocacy Center.

Investigators determined that Longo engaged in a pattern of sexually explicit communications with a child under the age of 12.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims who were contacted by Longo and ask anyone with information to contact the New York State Police at Troop D Headquarters at (315) 366-6000 and reference case number NY2600762245.

Longo was transported to Madison County CAP Court for centralized arraignment.
