Dear Friend of America's Survival,
Pope Francis has sounded like a Marxist by denouncing “trickle-down” economics, the pro-growth policies associated with President Reagan. He negotiated the Obama deal with Communist Cuba. The Washington Post noted that while anti-communist Pope John Paul II was “extremely public in his fight against communism,” Francis seems dedicated to being known as a “master builder of bridges” between the communist and free worlds. This is to the advantage of the communists. It was in this context that State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said: "Secretary Michael R. Pompeo met today with His Holiness Pope Francis in Vatican City. They reaffirmed the United States and Holy See commitment to advancing religious freedom around the world, and in particular, protecting Christian communities in the Middle East. The Secretary and Pope Francis also discussed the continued efforts of the United States and the Holy See to promote democracy and human rights globally." In another shocking development, Francis returned Miguel D’Escoto to his duties as a priest in the Roman Catholic Church, after a 29-year suspension. D’Escoto is the former foreign minister of Communist Sandinista Nicaragua and Catholic Priest of the Maryknoll Order who advocates Marxist-oriented liberation theology and won the Lenin Peace Prize from the old Soviet Union. He served as President of the U.N. General Assembly from September 2008 until September 2009. Secretary of State Pompeo apparently said nothing about the pro-Marxist agenda of Pope Francis.
