Pot Pusher Susie Wiles Betrays Trump’s Conservative Base By Cliff Kincaid Let us quit pretending that everything is all right with the Trump Administration. The pot pushing Trump chief of staff Susie Wiles has alienated millions of Americans by convincing the president to declare marijuana a less dangerous drug through an executive order (EO), a process that could eventually result in full-blown legalization, thus making this mind-altering substance more available to young people. At this critical turning point in the life of the nation, this is not what we need. We need people capable of critical thinking, not drug-crazed zombies like Nick Reiner, a pothead and notorious consumer of all drugs, from heroin to cocaine to meth, whose latest psychotic episode resulted in the knife murders of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner. Nick Reiner openly declared he was “smoking a little weed,” when he was supposedly disengaging from the drug culture, which has been part of Hollywood for decades. One of the victims, rock star Elton John, was addicted to the drug and declared his opposition to legalization, saying “I maintain that it’s addictive. It leads to other drugs. And when you’re stoned -- and I’ve been stoned -- you don’t think normally.” The mass shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida in 2018 was carried out by Nikolas Cruz, 23, who was convicted of murdering 17 people and injuring 17 others and declared, after rehab, that marijuana and drugs were to blame. He said, “I hate drugs, and I believe this country would do better if everyone would stop smoking marijuana and doing all these drugs and causing racism and violence out in the streets.” This week another student survivor of the carnage, Donovan Metayer, committed suicide. Ignoring the abundant evidence of marijuana’s link to psychotic violence, a fact once acknowledged by Trump himself, Susie Wiles arranged a White House ceremony in which Trump signed the EO and played into the hands of the illegal drug lobby, once totally funded by his arch nemesis George Soros. Susie Wiles, never a conservative in the Reagan sense but in fact a former lobbyist for a firm representing Big Marijuana, arranged the betrayal of millions of Americans who wanted Trump to continue his war on drugs at home, not just in the waters around Venezuela. The facts are not in despite: Susie Wiles worked for a lobbying firm in Florida, Ballard Partners, that represented the pot industry, in particular a company called Trulieve, headed by Kim Rivers. These were the people assembled in the Oval Office. They are dope pushers, to put it bluntly, but they are doing it all in the name of “medicine” and alleviating PTSD in vets. As Trump might say, it is a scam. These are people, like the Soros-funded illegal lobby, who see dope as the ultimate consumer product, capable of addicting the clientele while making big money for the dispensers of the drug, now deemed legitimate by the President himself. He has been bamboozled by the lobbyist Susie Wiles. Tragically, the basis for advancing freedom in the hemisphere, the war on drug trafficking states like Venezuela, has been undermined by President Trump himself, when he issued this executive order directing federal authorities to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug. This move undermines the war on drugs here at home and actually benefits China and Russia, which are heavily involved in the American domestic marijuana industries. Rescheduling could provide what is called 280E tax relief for the multi-billion-dollar marijuana industry but those benefits remain on hold until the process of rescheduling is finalized and cleared through the courts. That could take months and may never occur before there is no documented medical benefit from smoking dope. But that means the evidence must be allowed in court. Not only is there no medical benefit, the use of the drug in heavy doses causes mental illness, even psychosis and murder. In fact, President Trump once spoke of “genetically engineered” or weaponized marijuana, the high potency variety being sold today, linked to violence and mass murder. Now he has declared it “less dangerous.” Anti-drug activists blame this executive order on Trump chief of staff Susie Wiles, who was linked to lobbying for the marijuana company Trulieve while she ran his campaign. They note evidence that Susie Wiles gave Kim Rivers, President and CEO of Trulieve, several opportunities to speak to the president at the White House and that Trulieve contributed $750,000 towards President Trump’s Inaugural. This is called buying influence. It is Washington corruption at its worst. At the news conference announcing the executive order, Trulieve’s president and CEO, Kim Rivers, took part, along with her good friend Susie Wiles. CNBC, the business channel, confirmed all this, reporting the president’s marijuana reclassification executive order “followed a yearlong push by cannabis executives, billionaire allies and political operatives combining donations, lobbying and targeted polling, according to industry insiders.” Hence, the stench of corruption continues. In fact, Trump is implementing the Biden policy on marijuana. Whereas the Reagan Administration proclaimed “Just say no” to drugs, the Turmp Administration is in bed with the Soros-funded illegal drug lobby. The channel also confirmed the role of Susie Wiles, reporting that Kim Rivers, CEO of Trulieve, “one of the largest U.S. cannabis companies,” has “cultivated a close relationship with the Trump administration” and “a personal connection with Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles.” It added, “Although Wiles was not a registered lobbyist for Trulieve, she previously worked at Ballard Partners, a Florida lobbying firm that represents the company.” These connections have put profit for Big Marijuana over the lives of our people. Trump’s connection to Trulieve through his chief of staff stinks to high heaven of corruption. He can’t fight drugs in Venezuela while further unleashing their destructive potential in the United States. He must reverse course before he directly contributes to more American lives being lost in the drug wars.
