Trumpamania in Pennsylvania By Cliff Kincaid Traveling through Pennsylvania over the weekend to give a talk at the 4th Annual Constitution Picnic, I was struck by the large number of Trump 2024 signs and banners. I saw only one for the regime, an old Biden-Harris sticker on a car that also featured a “Feel the Bern” message in honor of Bolshevik Bernie Sanders. Yet, we are now being told that, with the new and improved candidate, Kamala Harris, the state is a toss-up. During this chaos and controversy, much of it stemming from the attack on Trump’s life and continuing threats, Trump has found a winning issue that will attract millions of people and many new voters -- an alternative monetary system that bypasses the Federal Reserve through crypto currencies based on new technology, such as Bitcoin. His appearance on Saturday at the Bitcoin 2024 Conference was a major turn in the campaign. The challenge is whether Trump can live long enough to make it into the presidency. As I have stated repeatedly, he needs a private security force to replace the Secret Service. I am astounded that he continues to rely on the Secret Service agents provided by the Biden/Harris regime. His embrace of crypto is another reason why America’s enemies and adversaries in the BRICS alliance, not to mention the White House, would like to see Trump eliminated from the scene. I came upon the Trumpamania 2024 bus, parked at a shopping center, with a veteran Trump supporter by the name of Mark Conger advertising and selling merchandise as he travels up and down the East Cast. His ball cap declared, “Even my dog hates Biden,” and his T-shirt was plastered with a photo of Trump urinating on the CNN logo. I put together a special report with photos of his amazing collection of Trump merchandise, including T-shirts, posters, banners, and buttons. I had never seen anything like it. His bus was full of Trumpamania before Hulk Hogan ripped off his shirt at the Republican convention. If Trump supporters are overconfident and Pennsylvania is tied, as one poll indicates, the left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore may be correct that the number of “progressives” is equal to or surpasses the number of conservatives in the state. Is this possible? “America is a liberal country!” he proclaims, citing the following statistics (for which no sources are provided):
I don’t think all of these numbers are correct and he leaves out figures on issues like the border, crime, and the economy, which give Trump a major edge. Nevertheless, Michael Moore’s figures reflect a belief in government solutions, and there’s an appetite for spending and receiving other people’s money. It’s called theft. But facing the fact that it is a liberal country, at least on social issues, Trump has moved left on abortion and homosexuality. This drift has alienated some of his supporters. On the economic issue, however, Trump has the decisive edge, based on fear of inflation and government spending and debt. In the 2024 platform, the Republicans promise to “pave the way for future Economic Greatness by leading the World in Emerging Industries,” and that includes crypto. It declares, “Republicans will end Democrats’ unlawful and un-American Crypto crackdown and oppose the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency. We will defend the right to mine Bitcoin, and ensure every American has the right to self-custody of their Digital Assets, and transact free from Government Surveillance and Control.” At the Bitcoin 2024 Conference in Nashville, Trump announced the new currency as a strategic reserve asset for the United States. Crypto may be the only hope for America to compete with and surpass the threat posed by the powerful BRICS alliance of nations. They are Russia, China, India, Brazil, and South Africa. The alliance, designed to undermine U.S. economic, financial, and military dominance in the world, is working to develop their own currency, based on using the oil and gas reserves of Russa and Iran to bring the U.S. dollar down from the world’s reserve currency status. Many Americans, especially young people, are clearly worried about the financial mess created by decades of excessive federal spending and debt, and they are receptive to the idea of a new currency as the only hope. Senator Cynthia Lummis is so optimistic that she believes that a crypto strategy could reduce the U.S. national debt. Speaking to the same conference in Nashville on Saturday, she said that, “Establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve would firmly secure the dollar’s position as the world’s reserve currency into the 21st century and ensure we remain the world leader in financial innovation. Families across Wyoming and the U.S. are struggling to keep up with soaring inflation rates and record-breaking costs while our national debt reaches unprecedented levels; now more than ever, we need to create a brighter future for generations of Americans by diversifying into Bitcoin and securing our economic future.” This message of hope and survival of the American economic and financial system comes at a time when the record of Vice President Harris on technological innovation is already questionable. She had been put in charge of getting better Internet across the U.S. FCC commissioner Brendan Carr notes that “Hundreds of broadband infrastructure builders are now sounding the alarm, writing that the $42 billion plan to expand Internet has been wired to fail.” He says Biden put Harris in charge of this effort back in 2021 and not 1 person has been connected. During his 2021 State of the Union address, President Joe Biden said Vice President Harris would lead the effort “because I know it will get done.” Biden’s exact words were that his “American Jobs Plan” would create jobs “connecting every American with high-speed Internet, including 35 percent of the rural America that still doesn’t have it,” and that Harris would be the boss of that effort. As noted by writer Seton Motley, the Border Czar was also the “Broadband Czar,” with similar results. With a record like this, Harris and the Democrats have only one option – terminate Trump by encouraging more left-wing lunatics to take him out.
