Interestingly, members of the North American Group of the Trilateral Commission include Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg, the former New York City Mayor who serves as a United Nations Special Envoy for Climate Action. A billionaire worth $53 billion, Bloomberg has already committed to spending more than $100 million on ads and voter registration efforts to defeat Trump.
