Dear Friend of America's Survival,
The death of black African Marxist dictator Robert Mugabe has given rise to some stories about his stolen wealth. WikiLeaks had reported a 2001 classified cable saying: THE FULL EXTENT OF PRESIDENT MUGABE'S ASSETS ARE UNKNOWN, BUT ARE RUMORED TO EXCEED US$1 BILLION IN VALUE, THE MAJORITY OF WHICH ARE LIKELY INVESTED OUTSIDE ZIMBABWE. The Daily Mail says the assets included a 25-bedroom mansion in Harare, Hong Kong villa and stolen farms. For the fiscal year of 2018, the United States was supposed to provide almost $150 million in funds to Zimbabwe. For 2020, the figure is $174,512,000. The U.S. Embassy reports: For more than 30 years, the American people, through USAID, have invested over $3 billion in Zimbabwe. How much ended up in Mugabe's bank account? For America's Survival, Cliff Kincaid
