How the FBI Mishandled the Anthrax Attacks

​Former FBI Director Robert Mueller ignored the abundant evidence of an al-Qaeda role in the anthrax attacks because the FBI had picked up the anthrax mailer and let him go. He reportedly went on to bring down Flight 587 with a shoe bomb. All of this was just too embarrassing for Mueller to admit. A deliberate cover-up was engineered as Mueller purged government materials of information that identified the nature of the Islamic terrorist enemy nd its use of a bioweapon probably stolen from a U.S. lab. Mueller’s team, which blamed several different American military scientists for the anthrax mailings, was sued by the FBI inspector in charge of the investigation, Kenneth Lambert, over a cover-up.
