Impeachment as a Weapon

Dear Friend of America's Survival,

One far-left group, which calls itself Popular Resistance, claims that the Democratic Party’s electoral strategy of impeaching President Trump is backfiring. Its newsletter proclaimed, “Before impeachment, Trump was losing to each of the leading Democrats, but the latest USA Today/Suffolk University poll finds for the first time Trump defeating all of the leading Democratic candidates. Gallup reports that Trump’s approval has risen by six points since the launch of the impeachment inquiry. A CNN poll found that support for impeachment fell by five percent over the past month.”

As a result, another far-left strategy has emerged. It’s an effort to divide and demoralize Trump’s base by casting doubt on what Trump has done for conservative Christian voters.

The celebration of the birth of Christ is a perfect time to reflect on this charge and understand who’s making it and why.

By a nearly 2-1 margin, young people favor impeachment and want Trump removed from office. They do not understand the tactics and strategy of the left because they are, for the most part, victims of them. In fact,  they are products of the Marxist Madrassas known as colleges and universities.

The hard fact is that many of these students lose their Christian values when they go off to college. The problem is so dramatic that Aurora Griffin wrote a book, How I Stayed Catholic at Harvard: 40 Tips for Faithful College Students.

In the United States, Trevor Loudon, an author and filmmaker, has written a series of stories in the Epoch Times about efforts by atheistic pro-Chinese communists to turn states like Virginia, Texas, Arizona, and Florida permanently blue. The activities by these street communists complement the millions of dollars being spent by capitalist billionaires Michael Bloomberg and Tom Steyer to drive the voters to the polls.
