Dear Friend of America's Survival,
As we celebrate the birth of Christ, and contemplate the nature of original sin, it’s worth taking a step back and noting that one of the oldest sins in the book is covetousness. Politically speaking, this means coveting (government confiscation, mostly through higher taxes and debt-financed programs) what other people have. It means reckless spending and going into ruinous debt for illegal and unconstitutional reasons.
Karl Marx defined communism as the abolition of private property, through force and violence if necessary. But it can also be accomplished through bribery of the voters. It is something to behold. The tragedy is that so many Americans today see nothing wrong with it.
