The Drugging of America

Dear Friend of America's Survival,

The bill, called the SAFE Banking Act, passed 321-103 with the near-unanimous support of Democrats and nearly half of Republicans. It gives the pot industry access to banks, thereby creating Big Marijuana.  

There's nothing SAFE about marijuana and its Big Marijuana affiliate.

Rep. Markwayne Mullin was quoted by muskogeephoenix.com that existing banking laws are used to prosecute drug cartels and organized crime syndicates for tax evasion and money laundering and that, if those laws were relaxed for states where cannabis is legal for either medical or recreational use, criminals also would take advantage. "It actually turns my stomach that we are allowing this to happen when we know it is a Class I federal drug," Mullin said. 

The Senate must stop this bill. 

Politicians are so anxious for marijuana money, in the form of campaign cash, that they are willing to faciliate the creation of more potheads, more violence, and more mental illness.

A version of the SAFE Act has been introduced in the Senate (S. 1200) and currently has 34 sponsors.
