Dear Friend of America's Survival,
He said he wanted to make America great again and cut foreign aid. But he just "scrapped a plan to freeze more than $4 billion in foreign aid," reports Politico. It said Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo led the charge to keep spending the U.S. into oblivion. The New York Times confirmed: President Trump on Thursday rejected a proposal from budget hawks in the administration to curb foreign aid spending... Trump must have been told that this was the only way to keep various foreign countries in the American camp, as our enemies increasingly wage economic and financial warfare against us. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee published a report in 1995 which revealed that the actual cost of foreign aid provided by the U.S. to the rest of the world since the end of World War II is nearly $2 trillion. There are two excellent books on this subject of corruption in the foreign aid problem -- The Lords of Poverty by Graham Hancock, and The Road to Hell by Michael Maren. Both authors worked in the international aid business and have documented its corruption. So why does foreign aid continue? There’s a major lobby here in Washington called InterAction, a coalition of nearly 200 different groups, which lobbies for it. About 90 of these groups wrote to Congress protesting a plan to hold back the $4 billion. They won. You lost. For America's Survival, Cliff Kincaid
